Visit Ban Xang Hai (Whisky village) and observe their traditional weaving technique and how they make Lao Whisky (Lao Lao). All sorts of snakes, insects and bugs are fermented and mixed with the whiskey
Return to Luang Prabang by private or join group vehicle
Start your adventurous day with a trek to a Hmong Village and then kayak down the Nam Ou River to Pak Ou Caves, one of the most respected and holiest sites of Luang Prabang. It has been a place of worship for more than a thousand years. Pak Ou translates to "the mouth of Ou River" and is located north of Luang Prabang on the east bank of the Mekong. We'll then go to Elephant camp and enjoy learning about elephants and then riding them.

Pak Ou caves can get crowded on the weekends and national holidays. Do not forget to bring your mosquito spray, sunscreen, swimming suit and to wear proper shoes
