You have the option to wake up before dawn to witness and participate in offering alms to hundreds of saffron-robed monks and novices. Please tell your guide a day advance if you wish to make an offering so your guide can prepare some food for you to hand over to the monks. If you do not wish to make an offering, please keep an appropriate distance and observe the ritual in silence. Dress appropriately – shoulders, chest and legs should be covered. It’s possible to join the alms giving, but contribute an offering only if it would be a meaningful to you. If you would like to make and offering, please buy sticky rice at the local market earlier the morning rather than from street vendors along the monks route.
After breakfast meet our guide and transfer to the hotel. You can rest and refresh yourself and then we will start the tour to town by private vehicle and start with a relaxing walk around the UNESCO World Heritage city, the ancient town of Luang Prabang and outstanding example the fusion of Lao traditional and French architecture built by the European colonial in the 19 century. Pay a visit formerRoyal Palace , which now is National Museum. Admire its elegant blend of French and Lao architecture and discover the rich history of the Lao royal family. Next, head to the top of Mount Phousi, where you can enjoy stunning vistas of the city below. Drive or enjoy a leisure walk to Wat Mai, one of the richly decorated and most impressive. Continue to Wat Visoun Luang Prabang’s oldest Pagoda and pass by Wat Aham along the way, which built to the house the shrine Phra Bang Buddha statue was cast in Sri Lanka almost 2,000 years. Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture and back to relax at the hotel.

Spend your morning on a community at the Living Land Farm a fantastic way to experience the life of farmer and hand on at some activities of rice process, how the rice is grown to eat. Surrounding by mountains and following the water buffalo through a rice paddy to plow a field. Learn about the basic steps in planting, cultivating, harvesting, grinding rice ending and cooking then enjoying the final product with cooked rice and some other product that made from rice.

It is recommended to wear clothes that can get wet (or dirty) for Living Land farm. Don’t forget to bring your swimming clothes and proper shoes if you want to hike up to the top of the waterfall. Kuang Si waterfall can get crowned on the weekends and National holiday.

After breakfast meet your guide at the hotel lobby and depart by private vehicle to the boat pier, embark on 2 hours cruise in a long tail boat on theMekong River and visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. When pilgrims completed the difficult journey, they left behind Buddha idols more than thousands of various size in the cave. One of the most respected holy and famous site of Luang Prabang and have been a place of worship more than thousand years. En route typical Laotian Ban Xang Hai (Whiskey village) and observed their traditional weaving technique and how they make Lao Whiskey. All sorts of snakes, insects and bugs are fermented and mixed with the whiskey and cruise back to Luang Prabang. Begin your adventure at the handicraft village, Ban Xang Kong village, observed the village and learn how to make Saa paper (paper mulberry) with the local. Made of the bark that soaked and boiled with wood ash, then it pounded and dry on the square mode for few hours. You can come and collect the paper you made on the way back.
